I lift up.  A simple phrase.  A whole lot of meaning.  So much so that I'm calling it "A Movement”.  A movement about Positivity and Strength.  Two things that I personally try to embody everyday in everything I do.  I don’t need to be positive, but it sure does help a lot.  I don’t need to be strong, but it sure does help a lot.  I feel like I’ve said that before?!

I’m going to keep this post short and sweet because the less noise and distractions there are, the more you can focus on being positive and strong!  There is so much negativity in this world.  Filtering out what’s important takes strength.  Staying positive in a very negative world, takes strength.  It’s tough, but if we all practice, and try to leave behind a little more positivity, then maybe we’ll see a change…  You never know, but let’s start small.

I lift myself up.

I am and always will be my toughest critic.  I don’t care what anyone else says about my work, the way I look, or how I perform.  No one will break down flaws and faults more than me. I will learn from mistakes, focus on the positive, and lift myself up.

I lift others up.

I love cooking for people.  I love making things for people.  I love helping people accomplish their goals.  Lifting others up only makes us feel better.  No one ever said they regretted brightening someone else's day.  Smiling is contagious!

I lift heavy things up.

Weights, children, groceries….there’s heavy things I must constantly lift and move.  Training for life means making sure I can always function properly and move heavy things.  Lift something heavy (properly...or build up to it).  You’ll get a greater reward and sense of accomplishment from it.

So there you have it!  These three phrases all work cohesively to help you and others feel more positive and strong.  The phrase "I Lift UP" encompasses all three.  I’m inviting and asking you to join the movement.  Please help me spread some positivity and strength.  We all need to soak it in from others at one time or another.  The more we share, the more we can receive when we need it.

Have something else to add?  Let me know in the comments… I Lift  __________ UP
